George is currently Musical Director of four ensembles: The London Philanthropic Orchestra, Phoenix Choir of Crawley, Chorus of Our Lady of Lourdes, Lee and Sittingbourne Orpheus Choral Society. He has also previously held posts with the West Chiltington Silver Band and has worked as a guest conductor with the Amade Players, Kent Sinfonia and many others.

Having taken up conducting while as part of his Music Degree at the University of Birmingham, George went on to take a Masters in Conducting at the University of Surrey, for which he was awarded a Distinction. He has also attended masterclasses with some of the world's most acclaimed conducting tutors, including Colin Metters and Jorma Panula.
